Our dayoff
Day started wet so we decided to have a day off!! -we deserved one. We had stayed in Glen Cairn, Co.Waterford the previous night; had a shower and catherine cooked us a nice big fry, thanks Catherine. As we sat around the table wondering whether to travel up the Vee mountains in the pissing rain or go to the pub (idn’t have to think about that one too long).
Catherine dropped us in to Lismore where we looked for a pub with a pool table and juke box which thankfully we found- one called The Classroom so we decided to teach ourselves a lesson on how to spend the day in a strange town and we learned fairly quickly.
Bosco spent the whole day at the juke box playing his favourite songs (ymca, bronskie beat, soft cell, culture club and the best of boy george) that’s the only money he spent all day. We got bored of Lismore after a while so we decided to move to the busy town of Tallow-ever want to go to a town with great crac- Tallow is not the place to go. We were the only ones in the town!!! but we still managed to have a good laugh watchin bosco playing his music and dancing . Near closing time Vicky and her friend were waiting outside to drop us home, Simon decided to go crazy with a hurley and a helmet in the car-lets just say it was an interesting spin home. Thanks to all in Glen Cairn - Gerard , Catherine , Vicky, Lindsay and Mark for your hospitality .We'd also like to thank Bridie in the Corner House in Tallow for your sponsorship which is much appreciated.
