day 7

On the road for 10.30 thanked the owners of Ballyness Caravan Park for their hospitality and set off in to the sunshine to Benbane head on to Ballycastle. Came to Carrigk-a-Rede where the famous rope bridge is.Dexter was adamant that we had to do the tourist thing and off we walked the 1 kilometre with all the bike gear and camera’s . Bob was not keen on the idea because he’s afraid of heights but fair play Simon, Dex and Mark convinced him to cross. I have to say I was planking it myself but dexter been dexter egged me on . Check out the photo.s!!! It was a lot harder walk back because in the 1 km walk you've got 2 flights of steps I counted them on the way up and back and got 79 on both . When we got back to the top I asked if there was any reason why this was . He said I had counted them wrong .but wasn’t going back to prove him wrong.
Back on the bikes through Ballyvoy, Torr, Knocknacarry, Garonpoint, Larne, Whitehead, Carrickfergus, Newtownabbey, Whitehouse, Belfast just to name a few .I had dex on my bike and he kept waffling on so I wasn’t been as observant as usual. The day was gorgeous the waffle and crack was good. On into Belfast, Newtownabbey, Antrim to the Six Mile Water caravan park where we settled down to fish&chips and a bottle of green buckfast. Check out the photo, sat 11.45pm by the water fab if I say so myself .Enjoyed the longest day of year because it was such a beautiful day with some awesome site's
